Para PDA 45.ACP (used)
The Para LDA (light double action) trigger has a long but smooth and fairly light pull, and a nice clean break. The PDA would be an excellent CCW pistol for someone who loves the look, feel, and slimness of a 1911 but does not want to worry about disengaging a manual safety when under pressure.
Like any subcompact 3-inch 1911, recoil is stout in the .45 ACP version. It's not unpleasant by any means (since the .45 ACP is a low-pressure, lower-velocity round), but you definitely need a lot of practice with it.
The 9mm version is a great alternative -- it is easier to shoot, and you get two more rounds in the magazine.
